Digitisation complete – how linear is the future of television?
In order to give enough space to the exciting developments, the topics of video and audio will receive an independent report. In the digitalisation report video 2018, the focus is on the end of the analogue cable signal.

From radio to audio: from old infrastructure to new possibilities?
For the first time, an independent publication on the subject of audio will appear alongside the traditional digitalisation report of the media institutions. Current trends and developments in radio broadcasting can now be examined in more detail.

Imposed enrichment: Is there a need for privileging plurality?
This year’s medienanstalten digitalisation report throws a spotlight on a vital topic: privileged discoverability in the German media landscape. For easier navigation of this complex issue, and aided by expressive collage-style illustrations, our golden design thread provides welcome visual cohesion to the assembled facts, figures, radio and TV insights. Designed to guide through the topic, it highlights the many different facets governing the current media environment.

Digital expanding, analogue islands - the survey of the media world
The current digitalisation report of the media institutions records digital peaks and analogous valleys in the German media landscape. Intermediate figures and facts, TV, radio and current topics, the report we are presenting presents the media world in all facets and illustrated landscapes.

Vielfaltsbericht of the media institutions
The new report shows the many different aspects of media diversity, based on the current results of the media weighting study and MedienVielfaltsMonitor of the media institutions.
